All youth events have Safeguarding God’s Children trained adults in attendance and abide by the guidelines and policies of the Diocese of Kansas to keep our youth safe. Our youth are also encouraged to participate in our Diocesan Youth Ministry programs. (www.edokyouth.wordpress.com). Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm during the school year. Good Shepherd has many forms of outreach. These range from the structured approach of the Outreach Committee with regular annual projects to spontaneous donations to meet specific needs both within Good Shepherd and beyond. Many of the groups within Good Shepherd have additional outreach projects they support throughout the year.

Currently our parish-wide projects include:
Our Little Roses (www.ourlittleroses.org) is an orphanage for girls, located in Honduras. Our parish collects towels, sheets and other items for the girls as needed.

Parish Garage Sale
Members of the parish donate items and volunteers staff the Garage sale annually. Proceeds are donated to local and international charities.
